I now pose the question: Why does all this have to be the website or webapp author’s responsibility?
Usually I just look at a new thing in CSS like contrast-color() and think: “Cool! A new thing for me to build stuff with!” and I won’t spend much time thinking about the relationship between web developers and browsers. But I think Eric has me convinced here.
